The Caramel group of architects headed for the impossible when they built a house costing €55,000. The Lina House is wrapped in PVC membrane like a candy wrapped in cellophane.

 

Building a house most certainly belongs to one of the biggest investments a man makes during his life time. When else is he cashing out at once 200,000 euros or more? However, sometimes – you must admit – the funds available do not allow even the cheapest option. One client asked the Vienna-based group of architects Caramel to face precisely this kind of building task. So what can you do when the budget allows the building of just one small house?
